More Sketchbook Pages
Here are a few sketchbook pages from over the past week. I've been using simple line drawings a lot recently, and have been trying to use more coloured lines, trying not to overuse fine liners.

White Trash Heroes - Sarah Wharton
I first saw Sarah Wharton's work on a gig flyer made for 'elephants'. I find her work very inspiring, the use of detail and different mediums is very nice.

Website Layout
Here I have cut out my heading design and placed it at the top of my website layout. I think it may be too dominant for the page and am considering reducing the size.
Sketchbook Pages
Here are some pages taken out of my recent sketchbooks. I have been trying to involve collage in my sketchbooks and make it so that the sketchbook is quite bulky and a handful in itself.
I have also been trying to draw more animals. I think that birds in particular are interesting animals as they often seem curious and naive. The lyric used on this page shows Gulls in a different light than how they are usually portrayed, as they are often known to be scavengers.
Year 1 Design
This piece is the final design for the 'Retro' project. The file was a photoshop file, and was at a resolution of 150, so i changed this to 72 and then exported it to a JPEG to make the image blog friendly.

Website Header
Here is a design that I am going to place as the heading for my website. I plan to cut the image out using Photoshop.
I am also deciding whether to create a short Flash animation based around this design to be used on my website.

Website Layout Draft
This is my first stage of creating my website. I have placed my buttons onto the background that I have chosen. I now need to design a title header and then place it on here as well.
Ideas Development
This picture shows what text I would like to be included on my website. It also has a few draft hand drawn types for text on my website.
This shows the variety of backgrounds I have considered for my website. I want the emphasis of the background to be like a sketchbook.
These are the buttons that I have created for my website. I have scanned them onto the computer and cut them out using photoshop.
These sketchbook pages show my thought process and the development that I have made with my website ideas. I find that developing these ideas in my sketchbook helps as I like the textures and creativity that I feel when working in a sketchbook.

Liv Bargman
I noticed Liv Bargman's work at Falmouth University, on a open day tour. Her work stood out to me as extremely creative and detailed. I love how she creates fun and exciting illustrations and manages to incorporate different textures and layers, and fun colours.

Initial Web Design layouts
These thumbnails show how I imagine to see my website laid out. I hope that the majority of my tabs, buttons and images will be hand drawn, I think that this will give the effect that I am looking for, so that the website will look like pages out of my sketchbook. I would also like to have designs and collages placed in various positions on certain pages to help add to this effect.
